Barcamp, for those not in the know, has nothing to do with bars or alcohol. To those of you who thought so, our apologies. And the ones who know need not be introduced to the concept. They can simply go and register.
But for the ‘New Comers’, Read On ...
Barcamp is an unbounded ecosystem which provides you the opportune platform to communicate, share and publicize your ideas in an open environment sans criticism. It is basically an ad-hoc (un)conference born from the desire for people to share and learn about any topic, idea or belief under the sun. It is a 'School of thought' where there is neither a speaker nor a guest and where participants themselves are the main actors of the event. Participants are encouraged to facilitate the sessions by making them share their experiences both live and, after the event, via web or other channels.
NO SPECTATORS, ONLY PARTICIPANTS
Attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one, or otherwise volunteer / contribute in some way to support the event. All presentations are scheduled at the day they happen but prepare in advance & come early to get a slot on the wall. The people present at the event will select the demos or presentations they want to see. Presenters are responsible for making sure that notes/slides/audio/video of their presentations is published on the web for the benefit of all and those who can’t be present.

With immense pleasure we invite you to participate in an (un)conference which will serve as a common platform to all who would like to contribute or desire to learn. Barcamp3 is a nexus of business warriors to help them materialise their dreams by allowing interaction and networking with folks across diverse fields like Consultancy, Entrepreneurship, Management, Designing, Engineering, IT & ITeS, Law, etc. It is the right junction to unite, not only for budding entrepreneurs who want to have their own start-ups and are looking for partners or consultants but also for the ones who are striving to propel the growth engine of their existing businesses. Come along, share and brainstorm for your ideas with others and learn how to pave your way ahead!!!

The Rules of BarCamp
1st Rule: You do talk about BarCamp.
2nd Rule: You do blog about BarCamp.
3rd Rule: If you want to present session, you must write your topic and name in a session slot.
4th Rule: Only three word intros.
5th Rule: As many sessions at a time as facilities allow for.
6th Rule: No pre-scheduled sessions.
7th Rule: Sessions will go on as long as they have to or until they run into another Session slot.
8th Rule: If this is your first time at BarCamp, you HAVE to present a session. (Ok, you don’t really HAVE to, but try to find someone to present with, or at least ask questions and be an interactive participant.
