Security
Due to some unfortunate events last week, security has been increased at IIM. Keeping this in mind, the barcampers have to get a security check at the new campus gate (They will be allowed through new campus gate only). Also they have to bring an ID, and they will be given a sticker/badge after the security check, which they have to preserve till the end of the event. If people can sign up their names on the wiki, it would be a real help. A member from Entrepreneurship Club would be present at the gate to facilitate this process.
We hope people are ok with it, and hence will cooperate.

BarCamp2, those who don’t know let us clarify that it has got nothing to do with bars or alcohol in the wildest sense of the word. Those who know, do not need to be introduced and can just go and register and for the new comers…read on.
BarCamp, is basically just a platform to connect, an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. The BarCamp gives you a chance to word YOUR opinion, a platform to communicate, share, network, discuss, debate and show practical's without the nervousness of receiving criticism. A live and active school for people who want to learn from others mistakes as well as accomplishments. A platform to give ideas to form new platforms.
Following the grand success of 1st Barcamp Ahmedabad which held on 19th Jan 2008, here we are again for more fun and more interaction, with BARCAMP AHMEDABAD 2.
Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join. We get together and discuss/rant/brain-storm/share opinions about about Web technologies & trends, Mobile/Internet, Hacking, Blogging, Education, Health, Retail and much more....everything about the Technology that interests us.
Its not just another networking event, nor it has the same bunch of people, the same sessions…the same talks…the same opinions.It is an amalgamation of individuals who like to participate and not be an audience.
The criterion for attendance is just one. Be ready to contribute your thoughts, ideas, experiences, expressions, suggestions, viewpoints and awareness.
When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers.
When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world.
